Warranty Information

Lifetime Warranty Against Manufacturing Defects

Aureus Jewelry offers a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers any flaws that are the result of the manufacturing process, and not due to normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or improper care.

What is Covered:

Defects in materials (e.g., a faulty clasp, a loose setting prior to wear, a significant flaw in the metal itself).
Defects in workmanship (e.g., a poorly soldered joint, an uneven plating application upon arrival).

What is NOT Covered:

Normal Wear and Tear: This includes scratches, dents, gradual fading of plating over time with regular use, and other signs of everyday wear.
Accidental Damage: This includes damage caused by dropping, hitting, or otherwise impacting the jewelry.
Misuse or Neglect: This includes damage caused by exposure to harsh chemicals, improper cleaning, or failure to follow the care instructions provided.
Loss or Theft: The warranty does not cover lost or stolen items.
Modifications: Any alterations or repairs performed by a third party will void the warranty.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:

If you believe your Aureus Jewelry has a manufacturing defect, please contact our customer service team at info@aureus-jewelry.com.

Your order number.
A clear description of the defect.
Clear photographs of the defect.

Our team will assess your claim and, if approved, provide instructions for returning the item for repair or replacement. Aureus Jewelry reserves the right to determine whether a defect is covered under warranty.

Jewelry Care Instructions

Proper care is essential to maintain the beauty and longevity of your Aureus Jewelry. These instructions are designed to help you keep your pieces looking their best.

General Care (Applies to All Materials):

Last On, First Off: Put your jewelry on after applying lotions, perfumes, hairspray, and other cosmetics. These substances can damage the finish of your jewelry.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep your jewelry away from chlorine, bleach, household cleaners, and other harsh chemicals.
Remove Before Certain Activities: Take off your jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, doing manual labor, or engaging in any activity where it could be exposed to impacts, chemicals, or excessive sweat.
Proper Storage: Store your jewelry in a clean, dry place, ideally in the provided Aureus box or a soft pouch. Separate pieces to prevent scratching and tangling.
Regular Cleaning: Even with careful wear, jewelry will accumulate dirt and oils. Regular cleaning is essential. You can use mild soap and warm water with a soft bristle toothbrush to clean your jewelry.

Using Your Aureus Polishing Cloth:

Your Aureus order includes a two-sided polishing cloth:

MICROFIBER SIDE: Use this side for all Aureus jewelry to gently remove dirt, oils, and fingerprints. It is safe for all materials, including plated items.
POLISHING SIDE: Use this side only on unplated stainless steel and unplated sterling silver to remove tarnish and restore shine. Do not use this side on any plated metal, as it may damage the plating.

Material-Specific Care:

Stainless Steel (Plain): Clean with microfiber side. Mild soap & water okay. Dry immediately. Optional: Polish with POLISHING side.
Stainless Steel (18K Gold/Black Plated): Clean with microfiber side only. Avoid soap & water. Dry immediately.
Sterling Silver (Plain): Clean with microfiber side. Mild soap & water okay. Dry immediately. Polish with POLISHING side to remove tarnish.
Sterling Silver (14K Gold/Rhodium Plated): Clean with microfiber side only. Avoid polishing cloth and water.
Tungsten Carbide (Plain): Clean with microfiber side. Mild soap & water okay. Dry thoroughly.
Tungsten Carbide (Plated): Clean with microfiber side only. Avoid soap & water. Dry immediately.
